Delivery

Once you have finished shopping, please check the contents of your basket and proceed to the checkout. You can use the checkout as a guest or register for an account. Our postcode validation software will help populate your address fields for you. If you use Google autofill or similar, please check carefully that any changes it makes for you are desired, particularly if your delivery and billing address are different. Please note that we currently do not ship to areas outside of the UK. Once you have completed the checkout process you will receive an email confirmation of your order, please check the details carefully and advise us quickly of any errors.

Choosing your Delivery Address

Select either your billing address or an alternative address, for example your work address. If you would like us to send the card or gift direct, you can input the recipient's address.

Products and Costs

Prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs. By excluding our delivery costs, we aim to make our pricing as transparent as possible and offer our customers the best price for our products.

Order Processing & Dispatch

All purchases will be dispatched to the delivery address entered during checkout. Postage rates will be calculated automatically when you checkout. A choice of services is available depending upon how quickly you would like to receive your order.

If you would like your order to be delivered in 2 to 3 working days using Royal Mail Tracked 48, please choose our Economy Tracked Delivery service at the checkout for a charge of £1.99 on orders under £15. This service will be free of charge for orders over £15.

If you need your order sooner, please choose our faster Express Tracked Delivery Service which will cost £3.99 on orders under £15. For orders between £15 and £35, the charge for this service will be reduced to £1.99. For orders above £35, this service will be free of charge. This service uses Royal Mail Tracked 24 and usually arrives the next working day (including Sundays).

For same day dispatch, please place your order before 1pm on weekdays. Orders received after 1pm on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday. You will receive a confirmation email on the day that your order is despatched.

Invoice/Packing Slip

Placing an order will generate an invoice, a copy will be emailed to you with your order confirmation email. We will print the original and use it to pick your order from our warehouse, we will peel off the delivery label and use it to deliver your order. The original will be folded and enclosed with your order.

Packaging

All orders are carefully picked and packed by us. Greeting cards are generally posted inside a board-backed envelope and marked Do Not Bend. Larger orders are packaged carefully in either bubble envelopes, mail bags or cardboard boxes. We take great care packaging your order to ensure as best as we can that the goods will arrive in perfect condition.

Using our Card Handwriting service

You can select to have your greeting card handwritten by a member of our team with a short message at an additional cost of £1.00 by selecting the pink Handwriting Service button on the product page and entering your message. This service is intended for customers sending one card direct to their recipient. After adding your message, please check that it is visible at the basket before proceeding to checkout. When using this service, you should enter your details as usual under billing details and change the delivery address to the recipient’s address. Cards will be written in pen by hand. We will post these cards in their own envelope and will not enclose a copy of your invoice with a handwritten order.

Selecting our Gift Wrap option

You can select to have your gift wrapped by selecting the pink Gift Wrap button on the product page and entering your message for the gift tag. There is an additional cost for this service of £4.99 and each gift that requires wrapping should be paid for separately. It is intended to be provided to customers sending their order direct to a recipient. When using this service, you should enter your details as usual under billing details and change the delivery address to the recipients. We will not enclose a copy of your invoice with a gift-wrapped order.

Customer Accounts

You can provide a password and create a Love Kate's login to make repeat shopping easier. You can also log in to view previous orders and check the status of current orders.
