There’s a new little bear living at Love Kate’s, and he’s been waiting patiently to meet someone special. Welcome, Lovely Kernow Bear!
Kate first found this little bear in 2024. He immediately caught her attention with his cute woven nose, cream coloured fluffy fur and wonderfully gentle expression. She knew straight away that he would make a rather delightful member of the Love Kate’s family.
He’s travelled a very long way, although he won’t tell us exactly where from. He simply arrived one day with a little bag, a hopeful heart and a rather sweet face, looking for somewhere he could call home. Somehow, his journey brought him all the way to Cornwall, where he found his way to us at Love Kate’s.
For now, he’s quite happy living amongst our cards, parcels and shelves of lovely things. He has a cosy spot to sit, plenty of people to fuss over him and, most importantly, lots of cuddles while he waits patiently for his forever home.
He’s been making the most of his time in Cornwall, too. He’s enjoyed little trips to the beach, felt the sea breeze in his fluffy fur, dipped his paws in the sea and even managed to fill his plush little belly with a few pasties along the way. He’s getting rather fond of Cornwall, although he’s still not quite sure what to make of the seagulls.
He even has his own little embroidered white jumper. And we think there’s something rather lovely about that. Because when his forever person comes along, his jumper might be just the thing to make them smile. Perhaps he’ll be a special gift for a new baby girl or baby boy, a daughter, a grandson, a granddaughter, or simply someone you love very much. Whoever he belongs to, those little words are there just for them.
He’s not looking for anything complicated. Just someone kind. Someone who might take him on little adventures, tuck him somewhere cosy at bedtime and give him a cuddle whenever he needs one.
In return, he’ll always be there to make them smile. A friendly little face on the days that need cheering up, a companion through sunny days and stormy nights, a soft bear to hold onto when a cuddle is needed.
For now, he’ll stay here with us in Cornwall, waiting patiently for his forever home and wondering where his story will take him next.
Perhaps his forever person is already out there somewhere.
