The story of our Lovely Kernow Bear...

He’s travelled a very long way, although he won’t tell us exactly where from. He simply arrived one day with a little bag, a hopeful heart and a rather sweet face, looking for somewhere he could call home. Somehow, his journey brought him all the way to Cornwall, where he found his way to us at Love Kate’s.

For now, he’s quite happy living amongst our cards, parcels and shelves of lovely things. He has a cosy spot to sit, plenty of people to fuss over him and, most importantly, lots of cuddles while he waits patiently for his forever home.

He’s been making the most of his time in Cornwall, too. He’s enjoyed little trips to the beach, felt the sea breeze in his fluffy fur, dipped his paws in the sea and even managed to fill his plush little belly with a few pasties along the way. He’s getting rather fond of Cornwall, although he’s still not quite sure what to make of the seagulls.

Whilst he waits patiently for his forever home, we’ve given him the name Kernow, after Cornwall. For now, we can only wonder where his story will take him next.

And when the time comes, he can even make his journey a little more magical. If you choose to send him as part of one of our Balloon in a Box gifts, he’ll arrive at his new home with a balloon gently tied to his little wrists and a special card carrying your own message.

Imagine the wonder of opening the box to find this little bear waiting inside, ready to bring joy to a loved one's life. A thoughtful surprise for a new baby, a birthday, a special milestone, or simply to let someone know they’re loved.
